Who It’s For

Authors with a finished manuscript that includes maps, chapter-heading art, or other embedded images — who need it formatted for print submission to Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble Press, or Draft2Digital, with every image preserved in its correct place.

The Problem It Solves

Print formatting with embedded images adds real risk on top of everything a text-only manuscript already has to get right: images can silently fail to meet a platform’s print-resolution requirements, or shift out of place during layout. Mirach checks every image’s print-readiness and keeps it exactly where you placed it, so nothing surprises you after you’ve already paid a printer.

How It Works

1. Upload

Same chapter-break scan as Rigel — bold text, a larger font size, or real Word heading styles all count, and you confirm or adjust what it finds. Every embedded image is checked for print resolution (300 DPI minimum) before you pay anything; a low-res image gets flagged by name, not silently downsampled.

2. Choose your formatting

Pick your target platform, a trim size, and one of 7 chapter-opening styles — the same options as Rigel — plus your images preserved in their original position relative to the text. Preview the real formatted result, images included, before paying anything.

3. Download

Get back a formatted DOCX and PDF with your images intact, saved to your account. Up to 3 exports within 30 days, same as Rigel.

A .docx manuscript file with your images already embedded where you want them to appear.

What You Receive

A formatted DOCX and PDF, sized and margined for the platform you chose, with every image preserved in place. Your finished output files are retained in your account indefinitely, so you can return and redownload them anytime.

What It Does Not Do

Mirach flags a low-resolution image by name rather than upscaling or otherwise altering it — fixing the source image is on you. It does not handle full-bleed, edge-to-edge cover images. For IngramSpark specifically, Mirach automatically converts your PDF export to their full PDF/X-3 print-certified format — run your download through IngramSpark’s own free file checker before final submission, same as always.

Privacy and Deletion

Your uploaded manuscript and images are deleted automatically the moment either 3 exports have been used or 30 days have passed since your purchase, whichever comes first — or sooner, on request. Your finished, formatted output files are retained in your account indefinitely. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the full detail.
