Thesis & Research Writing
A closer look
Build the argument behind the draft.
Keep your research question, literature, evidence, and outline connected. Write the thesis with the material behind your argument close at hand.
Your words. Your decisions. No generated prose.
Know what you are choosing
Inside Altair.
How it works, what it includes, and where it fits in your process.
Who It’s For
Undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students writing a thesis who want their central argument, literature review, and evidence organized in one place, linked to the draft itself as they write.
The Problem It Solves
A thesis’s sources, evidence, and argument usually live scattered across a reference manager, a folder of notes, and the draft itself, disconnected from one another. Altair keeps your central argument, literature review, and evidence linked together and visible beside your draft as you write.
How It Works
Accepted Files
None — Altair never involves uploading a document. Everything is typed directly into the worksheets.
What You Receive
Full, unlimited access to Altair on your account, covering any thesis you write, including future ones — plus BibTeX/RIS citation export for use in a dedicated citation manager. One-time purchase, no subscription.
What It Does Not Do
Altair organizes your argument and sources — it’s not a replacement for a dedicated citation manager. It does not generate formatted bibliographies or in-text citations (APA/MLA/Chicago, etc.); you are responsible for verifying any exported citation data before submitting your thesis. It never writes any part of your thesis for you.
Privacy and Deletion
Your worksheet content and account information are retained for as long as your account is active. There is no upload/analysis retention window to state, since Altair never involves uploading a document. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the full detail.
